Worship with us

Picture of a service in the KirkPublic worship is at the heart of everything we do and takes place in the Church on a Sunday morning at 10.30 am.  We welcome adults and children of all ages.

We hope that everyone can feel at home in our worship services, and we do our best to create the variety that sustains and challenges the Christian faith of the individual and the congregation together, no matter what stage of the journey you are on.

Children are welcome to attend church with their family and activity sheets are provided.

Our worship services include the singing of songs and hymns, prayers for ourselves and for others, readings from the Bible and a sermon or reflection for the day. Occasionally, we have a drama or a choir, but it is the atmosphere of the Church as a family together that makes our worship of God so meaningful. After worship the congregation is warmly invited for refreshments and a chat.

We celebrate Holy Communion monthly, sometimes as part of the main service, and at other times as a short celebration following the main worship service.

We also record our services on CDs and deliver them fortnightly to the elderly and housebound. Anyone can request CDs of the services – please contact the church office on 0131 451 5141 or by email at
currie_kirk@btconnect.com.

In our worship we try to create a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Why not come along and find out for yourself?
