A message from our Interim Moderator Rev Dr Anne Logan:
The apples have ripened, tomatoes are bright red in the greenhouse, the trees are just beginning to turn and the nights are drawing in – all signs of the changing season. Autumn with its vibrant colours and cooler temperatures is upon us. The changing seasons remind us that change is an essential part of our living. Some changes are more difficult than others and for Currie Kirk, the departure of Rev Easter Smart for a new charge in the USA heralds the start of a period of considerable change as we get to grips with the Presbytery Plan and all that it means. In the book of Daniel we read:
“Blessed be the name of God from age to age, for wisdom and power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons, deposes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. 22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.
God is always with us in the changes of life and the changes of church life. Pray that God will give us the wisdom we require at this time and guide us forward into new light and life.

Worship This Sunday
The 10.30am service will be led by Rev Dr Anne T Logan our Interim Moderator. At the close of the Service there will be a presentation to Easter and Heather in the Gibson Craig Hall from 12pm
